Professional 3D artist since early 2005 with experience in the creation of assets for 2D and 3D games. Specifically focused on 3D character creation with 3dsmax, Zbrush and Photoshop. I have contributed characters to a range of titles including MMORPGs, MMOFPS games, co-op FPS games, RPGs, smaller apps and flash games.

I have gone from Junior Artist to Art Director and I have worked on projects ranging from logos and mascots, to music videos, TV shows and TV spots for huge brands ( Art Institutes of America, Burger King, Nivea, Heinz and more ).

Architectural Visualization, Product Rendering and 3D Printing, Patent Drawings, Website Design and Game UI work and even digital make-up ( Visual FX work) are other areas of digital imaging I have also done significant work in.

I have also made a contribution to the Alembic format by ILM and Sony Open Imageworks with the creation of the example Octopus scene, pictured below.alembic-koyima

For the past 3+ years I have delved in the deep end of programming games using Unity and C# (formerly a VIsual Basic enthusiast). In this time I have been part of over 20 code focused projects ranging from children’s book templates for Amazon Children’s Publishing to full 3D online co-op FPS games.
