Despite great production values games can fail.
Theseis for PC and XBOX360 uncertain future… probably never to see the shelfs as a PC or XBOX360 title.
Well most of the remaining staff working on Theseis for PC and XBOX 360 left on Friday.
We all got fair compensation, but years of work have virtually gone down the drain.
Following the closing of all related sites and forums the administration decided to let the staff go while still in discussions with undisclosed publishers on the IP’s future.
It is still possible that Theseis will still come out, although probably on a different platform.
Hopefully developed by the same people, who have written the new story, designed and created the levels, characters and amazing music everyone loved in our videos and demo.
Despite the problematic production I know first hand that there are things in this game that would make gamers love the title and remember it as something really special.
RIP Theseis (for PC and XBOX 360 at least)
